Better Sex Life Motivation For Men To Lose Weight

If you’re the type of guy who has a hard time getting motivated to lose weight, then consider that being overweight may be cause of impotence. A better sex life could be a real motivator for you to shed the extra pounds. A Body Mass Index (BMI) of greater than 25 is considered to be overweight. The higher the BMI the more likely that sexual intimacy problems will occur.

According to the American Cancer Society, one in six men will develop prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Men who are overweight have an increased risk of cancer.

Men’s Weight as Related to Cardiovascular and Coronary Disease

There are numerous reports that suggest overweight men are more likely to develop heart related diseases as well as other disease including diabetes and cancer. Being overweight seems to have a common thread. In a previous article I made the connection that men, age 40 to 55, will note that there is a problem with being overweight and tend to be more likely to take action to reduce their weight to a health level than men over 55.

Motivation for Men, Age 40 to 55 to Lose Weight

Until men reach the age of 40 to 55 they generally are oblivious to fitness and health. When they start having health issues or the spare tire is noticed, they then become more motivated to take action. Men don’t like shopping and the need to buy larger sizes is irritating. Losing weight and the irritating fat now becomes an option.
